Australian designers Nicky and Simone Zimmermann behind Zimmermann brand presented their vibrant and gorgeous Autumn-Winter collection's runway show during New York Fashion Week. Both were inspired by the two distinct subculture movements of 1950's and 1960's - Beatniks, Teddy Girls, and Sharpies. These movements were important for American and British culture styles. Anyway, let's see the catwalk images which come in pleasant and mannish silhouettes and statement volumes. Here are presented menswear-inspired voluminous outerwear, including boyish suits, black studded cocoon coats, boxy moto jackets, long mohair vests, while the standouts were dresses with delicate cutouts, pouffy skirts, maxi gowns, statement jumpsuits, popcorn-knit sweaters and menswear-inspired footwear, like those patent leather brogues. Love the texture and fabrics of the next season, as we see here structured silks, angora, fluffy mohair.
