Please welcome California based fashion brand Kayu and its resort 2014 season's collection. Designer Jamie Lim behind the label creates something truly long lasting and exceptionally rare. She grew up in South East Asia surrounded by artisanal crafts. What I love about her work, then it's her passion and desire to preserve and cultivate traditional techniques and provide jobs to those that need it the most (Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia and Malaysia). Kayu works with mothers, grandmothers, sisters and daughters. Each product is made of all natural materials, including straw, shell and wood using age-old techniques. Anyway, let's see her latest pre-spring collection of women's accessories.
