As you all know, home is the place where we want to sit back and relax, to think about something sweet, deep and just to be ourselves. I say get rid of high heels, pantsuits, all those hairstyles and complexed make-up. Well, I do not say, that you should not look beautiful and perfect, yet I am saying to just keep calm. Usually, women try to wear everything that is quite old and lost its forms, like sweaters, jeans, loose fitted tees. I do not judge them, yet I have collected some principles that should be considered in your home wear dress code.
Here are Requirements for home clothes:
- It should be practical and comfy;
- Should be made of natural fabrics;
- should fit your figure;
- Wear diverse styles (I mean you should not wear the same clothes all the time, it really kills you, get rid of boring looks! It's better to have 3-4 different looks, that combine each other);
- The most important requirement for home clothes is: wear clothes in which you are prepared to meet guests.
So what exactly you can wear at home to stay chic and stylish.
It's better to wear dresses, sarafans, skirts, where soft and airy fabrics are the best, modish silhouettes, soft colors, lace embellishments, original print. All these criterias will underline your femininity and beauty. During summer time it's better to use cotton styles, which can be worn without ironing and for winter time you can always go for knitted comfy outfits.
Another variation is quite stylish: leggings + long and loose-fitted tunic. Want to look a bit sophisticated, then accessorize your tunic with tiny bright belt, looks simple, comfy and feminine. yet if you have a bit curvy legs or too thin, then it's better to avoid leggings.
Home suits. It can be beautiful velor suit which underlines your silhouette beauty, or light cotton pants worn with jumper or simple tee. I advice to wear colorful outfits but not too bright.
Bathrobes. Even terry bath robe can look eye-catchy, so I advice you to choose a shorter version. Yet this kind of wear should be used in the early mornings or late nights, so I prefer wearing silk kimonos with unique print.
Shoes. You can always go for brocade slippers, bright ones trimmed with furs, feather or embroidered with sequins.
