Hello my Dear fashion readers! Have you ever dreamed about wearing something that is retro, classic, modern and youthful at the same time? It's quite hard question, right? Well, not for today, as I have a really charming and lovely Autumn-Winter 2013-2014 collection by Van Bery. Behind Van Bery there are Berivan Meyer, a graduate from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, who worked for Loewe in Madrid, and Marie Tournant, her French acolyte (manages the sales and public relations of the Swiss brand, she wrote me back by the way, when I was asking about these gorgeous images, thank you Marie!).
Anyway, let's take a closer view at this warm and extremely practical collection. I tell you honestly, when I see these images I think of Lana Del Rey having fun in the Alps. Every piece evokes femininity, retro influence of ancient looks and each dress is colored with pretty colors, which are sweet and vintage. If we are speaking about the silhouette, then every look has that kind of modern touch which makes these vintage garments look contemporary and trendy. All in all, Van Bery adopts all the codes of modern confort and gives us something fresh, girlish and dreamy.
