Preppy casual elegance has been noticed in the latest Trussardi pre-Fall 2014 collection's lookbook. Label's creative director Gaia Trussardi was inspired by the late 1960's wardrobe of an eccentric yet elegant young woman who lives as a free-spirited person in San Francisco. That's what I call inspiration, right? So, Trussardi kept it relaxed and youthful, as you can see from the images below, the pre-season comes with plaid cozy jackets, blazers, long coats (shearling), leather black double-breasted jackets (looks tailored to me) and some evening looks. My personal favorite was leather pants and that menswear inspired outfit with gray blazer. Well, as or me, then I really like those patterns, as each one of them has that practical side which makes these relaxed clothes so must have.
