Workaday romanticism. Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen behind The Row revealed their new Spring-Summer collection of women’s soft volumes, soft tailoring and romantic shape garments. This time they took their inspiration from the works of 18th century Japanese painter Ito Jakuchu, the English countryside, and American folk minimalism.
Models sported natty blazers, mannish pants, cashmere sweaters, billowing tunic/slip dresses, wide pants, rich regal red lean jackets, slipdresses, navy long dresses, boxy tanks, loosely belted oversize trench-coats, hot leather leggings, narrow skirts, unstructured bags, worn as clutches. So for the next spring season The Row designers offer us to dress layered, longer, looser, and lighter.
