I have already shared with you Slava Zaitsev Spring-Summer men's runway show which was presented during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia. Today, I bring to your attention womenswear. Despite the low-key and even conservative look, women's apparel looks bright and diverse. Models appeared on the catwalk wearing 1920's inspired fur collars, shirtdresses, lush 1950's inspired skirts, retro hats, bright umbrellas and tights. Next thing, which was spotted in the runway, was the wide range of sundresses embellished with sparkling brooches, plaid suits, transitional jacquard coats for summer wear, silk floor length ensembles, etc. I would say it's quite Dior-addicted with a new look. I felt in love with white look, which is clean, elegant and aristocratic.
The wide brim red hat looks great worn with polka dot outfit, which consists of a belted tailored peplum crewneck top and A-line, pleated ankle length skirt.
As you have already noticed, models wear outerwear with stand-up collars, making it look sophisticated and expressive. Most of looks are finished with long gloves and massive accessories, like necklaces, bow-ties and statement neckpieces. Speaking of hairstyles, then I see greased back hair, as well as lush updos with falling curly locks. The make-up is classic, featuring beautiful red lips. Looking through these images I can summarize collection, by naming it bright, original and aristocratic in a Russian manner. It's wearable art.
That's a perfect, evening look, which can be named as cape-dress with one long sleeve, which is cinched at the waist with a wide, red belt.
This is a beautiful printed purple long sleeve sundress which looks perfect with statement jewelry and purple tights.
There is kind of retro vibe in this tailored, belted ensemble. I recommend to wear this piece at cocktail parties.
That's another great monochrome look, which is ideal for special occasions, as well as red carpet events. Love the black, elbow length gloves.
That's my favorite one. The totally white look, which includes a wide brim tailored hat, long coat embellished with fur, pullover and pleated straight pants.
The following jacquard coat looks great with quilted shawl collar. That's the outerwear which can be worn at theaters or operas.
The modernized Prince of Wales printed coat is embellished with a feather fur. That's the cover-up which will make you stand out from the crowd.
The shapeless outerwear looks very 1990's inspired to me, or I would say too much mannish?
If you are an experienced businesswoman and you like wearing retro style clothing, then this checked skirtsuit is what you really need.
The tweed, blue checked cover-up looks Chanel-like to me. I love the way it's styled with black separates.
That's a party appropriate business outfit. You can wear it at formal meetings and dinners.
Here we see another retro inspired outerwear with balloon sleeves which looks sweet with a tailored cloche hat.
That's a nice business skirtsuit in red-black checks. I love the way it's worn with red tights and tailored black hat.
The same as the previous one, but this time it's a tartan coatdress. What I love about this particular look, then it's the perfect fit.
The belted tartan coatdress looks great and versatile. You can wear it in the streets and semi-formal occasions.
This suit looks great with a black, glossy, quilted jacket. It looks functional and classy.
