The latest Autumn-Winter pre-collection by Danish designer Peter Jensen was inspired by the spirit of Truman Capote’s 1966 Black and White Ball (with guests like Candice Bergen, Penelope Tree, Marella Agnelli, etc.) at New York's Plaza Hotel, where guests wore masks. I personally find this pre-collection to be 1960's boyish preppy featuring some sweet girlish and polished touches. The color palette includes black, white, navy, gray and dark blue. All in all, we see preppy varsity jackets and school uniform inspired separates.
Here we see model wearing a bunny mask, collarless varsity jacket embellished with a big P. I love this cover-up for its lengthened shape.
Hoe about wearing a dark blue jumper with classic-fit printed navy trousers and flat Mary-Janes.
That's a pretty functional knitted blue pullover worn with knee-length shorts and lace-up formal flat shoes.
The gray jumper is worn atop printed shirt and teamed with A-line blue skirt and practical Mary-Janes.
Here we see two outfits printed with swan patterns. One is long, wide sleeve shift and the other one consists of a printed shirt paired with straight skirt.
The sporty sweatdress is an ideal ensemble for casual days, when you don't want to dress-up too much.
That's a marvelous silk dress in navy color with jaunty bunny prints. The strapless ensemble is worn atop white turtleneck.
The elongated varsity jacket looks very practical worn atop bunny print shirt and teamed with white straight skirt.
