Preen designers Justin Thornton and Thea Bregazzi were inspired by the late stylist Ray Petri’s work at the Buffalo label. You are going to see masculinity touches and cues from the “graphic” elements of Petri’s look. We see a nod to Diana, Princess of Wales in the forms of statement dresses and sailor collars what look modern to me. The sailor collars can be seen on the silk tops, dresses and sweeping trenchcoats. Persoanlly, I like the geometrics, black and white stripes and floral prints. All in all, Preen by Thornton Bregazzi Resort 2016 collection is 1980's nostalgic, strong, ladylike and tough.
Sailor-collared, oversize khaki trench looks old-school and relaxed. I love the mannish touch of this cover-up.
Here we see another great looking outerwear, it's a black coat in a loose-fit shape with sailor's collar.
That's a pretty black cocktail dress embellished with ladylike florals.
A daywear black dress with flared skirt, an ideal investment for your everyday walks. Finish the look by wearing white socks with black flat shoes.
This multi striped zig-zag print has a straight fit. Looks quite retro inspired to me.
