This time I've got something special to share with you. In today's post I want to draw your attention to Nicholas K runway show and its lookbook Autumn 2015 season collection. This time, brother-and-sister designers were inspired by 1920's The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari. It appears that the silent horror film distorted and abstracted collection's set. It feels like Victorian era and steampunk were mixed up, so that every outfit looks unique.
I am so in love with these rounded sunglasses. A kind of creative steampunk touch is felt in these shades.
Nicholas and Christopher Kunz offer us a kind of post-apocalyptic urban nomad looking outfits. I am so in love with steampunk touches and film noir effects. We gonna see draped, sophisticated and layered outfits, featuring asymmetrical hoodies, fur-trimmed mullet sweaters, calf-length duvet coats, oversized aviator jackets, men's pinstripe wool suitings, airy dresses, shortened jackets, long ponchos, shearling vests, big shearling collar jackets, etc. The color palette includes vamp, rust, oxblood, noir, gun metal, etc. The prints include pinstripe and my favorite hand dyed web labyrinth print. The fabrics are high-qualitative, as always, including distressed leather, cozy mohair, silk satin, shearling, wool melton, stretch lambskin, etc. The details and accessories are impeccable, we see amazing industrial metal buckles, lambskin opera gloves, awesome headgear. So, tell me, what is your favorite look from Nicholas K Winter 2015-2016 collection in the comments below:
Layers, layers everywhere! We see model wearing a cool aviator hat, draped wool jacket, slouchy dark brown blouse tucked in black leather capri sweatpants styled with burgundy pumps.
Keep it totally black colored. We see an aviator black leather hat styled with rounded shades, shearling black leather sleeveless jacket embroidered with buckle fastenings and midi straight fit black skirt worn atop black leggings. Love the elbow gloves in black leather:
Keep it dark and strong. We see a burgundy wrap topper styled with matching color hat embellished with fur brim.
Wow, this pinstripe shawl cape looks really nomad-inspired.
How about wearing this stunning pinstripe suit with an elegant, long ponco.
Another great looking outfit is shown in this image. We see an aviator shearling hat worn with web labyrinth print cropped jacket and matching print semi-sheer long dress.
Keep it cool and mannish. We see a big black leather jacket with shearling wide collar styled with drop-crotch trousers.
This ribbed knit high-neck sweater looks awesome embellished with fur patches. You can wear it with cool biker style leather pants.
Welcome to winter desert! We see a layered, draped grey-white look.
This particular white colored outfit looks really freaks me out. A high-neck topper is paired with maxi skirt.
I have a kind of grunge feeling about this web labyrinth print outfit.
A burgundy shawl looks fantastic styled with draped matching color top and slim black leather trousers.
Say hello to army! This mannish looking outfit consists of black leather jacket with big white shearling collar and drop-crotch olive-khaki pants.
