Ports 1961 Spring-Summer 2014 Ready To Wear

Fiona Cibani behind Ports 1961 was inspired by the work of Italian director Michelangelo Antonioni 1970's movie called "Zabriskie Point." Here are presented feminine-masculine looks, including practical bombers, stealthy, yet light jackets, relaxed sweatshirts and boyfriend boxy shirts, as well as other demure sporty looks. The color palette comes mostly in light and pastel hues, including pretty blue, bubble gum pink and white, while as the show goes further, we see sophisticated khaki and black shades. My favorites are pleated flowing skirts and day dresses. Well, I tell you honestly, I simply felt in love with that sunset setting sweatshirt, which can be styled with lots of bottom designs, starting from jeans to pencil and mini skirts.

The pleated camel color skirt and boxy double breasted jacket remind me a bit of military style, but you can wear it as a formal wear for work during fall and winter time as well. Lots of fabrics are embellished with Swarovski rhinestones.
