Today I want to share with you amazing Spring-Summer 2015 season's ready to wear collection made by renowned fashion designer Peter Jensen. As you all know, this designer's collections are based on inspirational female icons (like Yoko Ono and Faye Dunaway his last two muses) and this time he was inspired by his childhood cartoon females, including Lucy, Marcie, Sally Brown, Peppermint Patty, and all the other Peanuts girls. No one from the named cartoon characters are grown up ladies, and that's quite strange for me, as Jensen designs clothes only for mature and elegant women. My personal favorites from the lookbook are coats in pink bouclé, color-blocked shift dresses, and other old-school American sportswear essentials. The following lookbook is quite abstract, as we see all those cartoon characters faces on pencil skirts, Lucy's bow serial print, etc. The color palette comes with bubble gum pink, yellow, sky blue, pale turquoise, fresh and bright yellow, black, etc. I tell you honestly, there is kind of sharp, tomboyish touch which makes the presented clothes so unique and functional.
Here we see a grey pullover styled with a printed white pencil skirt with cartoon faces sketches.
Love the following outfit, which features a hair bow which is serial print all over the coat and dress.
The multi printed blouse is tucked in fuchsia regular-fit skirt. That's a funny outfit, which is ideal for cocktail parties.
Here we see a shift dress in half blue and black colors with an eye-catching side pocket in fuchsia color.
That's a smooth white sweatshirt printed in cartoon faces sketches and styled with a matching bottom.
Here we see model wearing sun-yellow separates including shirt which is tucked in shorts ruched at the bottom.
The fuchsia bomber jacket looks awesome styled with a bow all-over printed dress.
The sweatshirt looks awesome paired with mini bottom and socks worn with men's flat shoes.
That's an eye-catching and bold look, which comes totally in fuchsia color.
Another great urban look, which features a quilted, black bomber, white top and mini bottom.
I think it's a fun bow printed jumpsuit made for creative ladies.
Sun yellow sweater looks perfect with sketch printed skirt. I personally find the top extremely versatile.
