Humberto Leon and Carol Lim behind Opening Ceremony are now creative directors of Kenzo. For the spring-summer fashion season the duo was inspired by the spirit of the house—color, proportion,, texture and blocked prints. I would say it is a youthful approach, here are shown pieces that are sporty and modern, and a little of 1970s Parisian chic. Models sported patterned orange-and-green skirts, fishnet-print flak jackets, two-toned utility jackets, jeans, summer dresses, wide-leg pants, taffeta jumpsuits, bracelets, mesh totes, fringed bucket bags, and visors. I like the bold hues: electric blue, grass green and citrus orange.
