The inspiration behind this amazing Autumn-Winter 2014-2015 collection's runway show from Ostwald Helgason was Germany and Iceland mixed with modern Americana. Susanne Ostwald and Ingvar Helgason behind the brand were inspired by the art of Anselm Kiefer, Joseph Beuys, Roy Lichtenstein and Andy Warhol. I personally felt in love with those creative printed fruits, like Warholian apples and 3-D-printed bananas. Models appeared on the catwalk wearing trim knit shirtdresses, skirts in metallic abstract prints, football jerseys, dresses with trailing and asymmetric hems and beautiful wool jackets with slashed shoulders. All in all, the winter season is all about serious and grown up clothing, with confident and sophisticated touches.
