Hello my dear fashionistas, I'd like to share with you one of my favorite Fall-WInter fashion shows which was held during Paris Fashion Week earlier this year and it's Nina Ricci's ready to wear collection. Models appeared on the runway with hair pulled back and red lips, wearing asymmetrically draped cocktail looks, long black dresses, 1950's inspired red skirt-suits, utilitarian coats, patchworked slipdresses, layering knits, quilted sweatpants, red wool parkas with fox-fur-trimmed hoods, black cashmere warm-up sweaters, delicate turtlenecks and high ankle-strap black shoes.
Label's designer Peter Copping was inspired by David Hamilton's photographed 1970s Ricci campaign, which featured dancers and that led him to get inspiration from the ballet dancers, especially by legendary 20th century British prima ballerina Margot Fonteyn. Love that delicate sweet-hued romanticism which is mixed with urban life basics. All in all, it's a delicate collection with modern elegance, clean and elongated silhouettes and classic color palette.
