Returning to label Monki, I'd like to show you brand's still life images of the latest Fall 2015 season offerings. So, what do we've got here? Gingham blouses, wide-striped black-white shift-dresses (my favorite), cocoon style shifts, wide pants, denim robes, denim overall skirts, pretty totes, rucksacks, high-sole mannish shoes, polka dot socks, etc.
My favorite pieces are the shift-dress in black and white wide stripes, kimono coat and the giant cuffed jeans that look like culottes to me. There is kind of funky touch, what makes every piece look original and unique. I felt in love with brand's raw denim range- boxy silhouettes and stiffness. The Japanese inspired pieces look both vintage and futuristic. Different moods, times and items, but one thing unites this clothing and it's the functionality. Monki frees itself from too strict design boundaries.
