Michelle Smith behind MILLY presented her Autumn-Winter 2014-2015 ready to wear and accessory collection at The Salon at Lincoln Center. The collection's name is "Dusk" and is focused on movement, drama and texture, while the color palette was inspired by the stages of nightfall (blush, onyx, metallics). The clothing silhouettes are inspired by off-duty classical dancer, there is a play of structure and fluidity. I personally felt in love with collection's colors, contrasting textures and patterns, kind of light versus dark. The fabrics are simply outstanding: sheer tulle, Mongolian fur, beaded fringe, reflective foil leather, etc. All in all, if you are one of those ladies who like precision, luxurious layers, intricate pleating and fluidity, then this bright collection is meant for you.
