Milan Fashion Week: Versace Spring-Summer

Baroque ’n’ roll prints. Versace showcased its spring-summer collection during Milan Fashion Week. Collection was inspired by summery underwater. Designer Donatella Versace chose light, gold, sparkling pastel hues, neoprene, plissé, gold studs to bring clever, modernized clarity, clean, bright and brilliantly made designs. Models sported studded biker jackets, second-skin pencil skirts, mini-gladiator dresses, goddess-y gowns, tiny tailored shorts, fitted shift-dresses, decorative coats, white, zippy suits with knee-length skirts. I like the color palette from ice blue to lavender, lemon, and pistachio. Prints included seahorses, starfish, sea shells and mermaid patterns.
