The Autumn-Winter 2014-2015 season's muse for Mes Dames was the 15th century heroine, Jeanne d’Arc, as source of inspiration. Indeed, each season Mes Dames has its own muse, which makes its collections look differently from the other designers works and next cold season is inspired by female bravery of Jeanne d'Arc. You are about to see armor combinations, which came in forms of slim ankles, voluminous torso, thick wools. I personally love the way Mes Dames has created armored body parts, it gives power to its clothes. Overall, models appeared in relaxed looks, which featured sleek shapes and feminine touches, like colors and cuts. Designers explored the shapes and functions of the medieval battle dress, that was modernized for a practical use.
