An experimental fashion label Acephala revealed its Autumn 2015 season collection entitled “Don’t kiss me”. Brand's name stems from the Acéphale (akephalos meaning “headless”) - surrealists’ most favoured figure of freedom. Acephala is literally a headless woman, metaphorically a mad, lunatic, female rebel overruling strict ways of reasoning.
Totally black look is awesome. We see model wearing a relaxed blazer styled with mannish shirt tucked in high-rise relaxed fit trousers.
Monika Kędziora label's head designer and Bartek Korzeniowski brand manager offer us beautiful looks inspired by the works of French avant-garde photographer and writer Claude Cahun a.k.a. Lucy Schwob (1894-1954), who played with instability of her identity taking up a male name and living with her partner - Marcel. The collection's structural components are inspired by male tailoring: long coats, collar shirts, suits, vests, straight-fit trousers, etc. The blouses and frocks are straight and elongated. I see marvelous deconstructed checked pattern, heart and lips appliqués, resembling child-like drawings. Speaking of fabrics use, then we see distinctive mixture of cotton and silk soaked in rubber, baby alpaca, kid mohair and creased Japanese denim. Anyway, we see relaxed styles borrowed from the boys closet.
