Pookie and Louisa Burch behind Trademark were inspired by Joseph Szabo’s early photographs of teenage American life in the 1970s in their latest resort collection. Personally, I find these clothes to be mannish and preppy. We see beautiful and statement buttons, Japanese Selvedge denim, feminine ruffles and traditional silhouettes. It's conservative, playful and geeky. All in all, the pre-collection is pleasantly quirky as usual.
