EnglishTraveler. Mulberry’s spring-summer collection was inspired by the classic trip to the retro English seafront shown during London Fashion Week. Creative director Emma Hill certainly knows how to create a fun scene around Mulberry, so you can see models wearing sunshine-yellow patent kagools, Mackintosh jackets, tulle maxi-dresses, color-blocked, striped skirts, ribbed leggings, swingy anoraks, bombers, sheer dresses with leather jackets, Mulberry boxy little camera bags in bright complementary colors or animal prints. Mulberry wasn’t shy on prints, color blocking, crystal embellishments and other glamour accessories. Overall, it’s young, ladylike style, but nothing particularly readable as an English seaside romp.
