Let's welcome latest Lacoste Fall-Winter ready to wear collection's runway show which was presented during New York Fashion Week. Label's creative director Felipe Oliveira Baptista took us into sporty glam world with athletic inspired silhouettes, that was the way he reconceptualized the golf wear, taking us two steps forward, while the starting point of winter collection was Chantaco, a golf course Lacoste's father-in-law designed in the 1920s. The men's and women's lines are sporty, relaxed and polished, but still extremely wearable. Models appeared on the catwalk wearing hooded sweatshirts, abstract motif oversize white sweaters, slouchy track pants, fit and flare skirts, chunky knit sweaters, pouched tops and beanies.
I would like to underline new season's outerwear, which included zippered jackets, double-breasted hooded jackets, utilitarian parkas, anoraks. Men's color palette came in burgundy, blue and beige, while the women's colors were a bit lighter and girlish. Love those graphic and kinetic prints, which feature tops, skirts and pants. All in all, we see practical no matter what is weather-like clothes for outdoor sports, games and walks.
