Transformative, vibrant and hi-tech. Looking through knitwear Autumn 2015 season collection made by Charlotte Grace Georgina Harris (CGGH), I keep on thinking about Jedi clothes and nomad touches. I think every person will definitely find something unique and different in these looks. Her recent MA Fashion Womenswear graduation final collection 'Enhanced Space Suit Assembly' at the Royal College of Art comes with hi-tech fashion looks and athlete vibes. Transformability and functionality play major roles in her creations.
Designer uses innovative, fashionable silhouettes, creating exaggerated and bulky sweaters made of waterproof yarns. The starting point of this collection is the images from thermal emission contours from Mars. The color palette is inspired by the thermal affects and influence on our bodies, including red, blue and yellow and green. The functional aspects where inspired by the layering of astronauts space suits. Charlotte uses the Swarovski crystals in amongst reflective print to add an edge of luxury to the garments.
A kind of hooded poncho-tunic in dark blue is worn with grey maxi floor-sweeping skirt.
Another awesome looking poncho is here. The fiery red colored garment features a ribbed knit high-neck.
I love the loose-fit shape and airy look from Charlotte's creations.
We see a bulky, exaggerated-fit hooded sweater dress with loose-fit sleeves and slouchy high-neck.
Another great thing what makes me love this collection is the sporty look. We see a maxi grey waterproof jacket worn with cropped ribbed-knit sweater, semi-sheer red maxi skirt, grey sweatpants and matching color runners.
Multi striped (from yellow to red) high-neck, oversized sweater-dress looks awesome styled with wide-leg slouchy grey pants.
Green layering makes any lady look sophisticated.
