J. Mendel Spring-Summer 2014

It's time to view J.Mendel's Spring-Summer 2014 colelction which is inspired by Serge Gainsbourg’s 1971 tune “Cargo Culte.” Well, Gilles Mendel knows how to attract his clients and the upcoming spring season turned out to be feminine (as always) and a little wild: dresses feature lace, jacquard, organza (my favorites are shift dresses), while the color palette features coral, white, yellow, gray and red jasper. Everything looks so straightforward and it feels like all these creations are made specially for sophisticated woman. The outfits feature white and sherbet tones with beautiful lace, some came in fitted fishtail appearance (looks so sweet), well if you will take a closer look at these creations, then you will definitely see some sporty touches, as well as uptown, razor-sharp glam and arcadian jacquards. I love the patchwork effect which features many looks.
