Let's have a look at this tough and feminine Autumn-Winter 2014-2015 collection from Guy Laroche. Marcel Marongiu behind the brand offers clunky and streamlined silhouettes. My personal favorites are collection's outerwear pieces that came in the form of shaggy Mongolian sheep fur coats and gorgeous lacquered leather and calf hair designs. Some of the looks make me think about military outfits, thanks to the structured pockets and shiny buttons. The color palette was inspired by the Russian-born French modernist painter Serge Poliakoff works, which included muted army green, brown, black teal, deep purple and cinnamon. Models appeared on the runway wearing long accordion-pleat skirts, floor-grazing sack dresses, boxy tops, thick leather ruffled skirts, lean and cropped pants. Overall, it's modern and tough collection.
