Futuristic and Layered. It’s only second collection from the duo Fyodor Podgorny and Golan Frydman behind Fyodor Golan and it already blew my mind. New Spring-Summer season is inspired by Margot Mifflin’s book Blue Tattoo. I haven’t read this book, yet i know, that it’s about the life of 13 y.o. Victorian Mormon girl, whi was captured and raised by Native American tribe. But this book wasn’t the only influence, a secondary key influence for the collection comes from ‘La Montaña Sagrada’ translated ‘The Holy Mountain’, a film produced in 1973 by Alejandro Jodorowsky.
Designers show soft and structured silhouettes: modern and wearable ensembles with tribal tattoo prints; so it’s fresh with heavily-structured pieces. Love these mosaic and raw quartz embellishments. Collection’s colors are regal blues, reds, so true the mix of blue and flames of orange reminds me autumn leaves a bit. If you wear these gowns on a red carpet ori n editorial, then I have no doubt you will be in the centre of everyone’s attention. I have to tell you, these garments look a bit futuristic, yet they are wearable and even comfortable.
