Floral Print in Dior and Prada Collections

Ten Women, and each of them is a flower. Peony, Tiger Lily, Dahlia, Tall Poppy - every girl has her own character, her own distinct identity. This kind of concept was drawn by Miuccia Prada in her video spring-summer campaign, where featured ten models, including Eva, Irene, Irina, Kirsten, Maartje, Raquel, Sasha, Saskia, Sung Hee and Vanessa.

This metaphor is simply amazing: women-flowers in dresses, capes and coats in bright, Japanese-like floral prints. Yet, Prada's creations come with daisies flowers, not with other named flowers. This spring collection is dedicated to strong and self confident women, who are romantic by heart. You can see Dior's spring collection which comes with floral print full skirts and black tops, this look was opted by Anna Wintour during Wall Street Journal Innovator of the Year Awards last year.

Dior's pink flower buds and Prada's multicolored daisies were chosen not accidentally. I personally think that these are two most beautiful and popular prints of the spring-summer season, which are still popular and can be found in many editorials of different fashion magazines.
