Last year during Paris Fashion Week all fashionistas saw new spring-summer collection by Miu Miu. The main theme of the show was 1950's classics, that's why fur boa and long elbow length gloves were back in fashion and after to the streets of Paris, all these pieces remind me Audrey Hepburn in the movie called "Sabrina." Stylists and editors of fashionable and glamour magazines were amazed by these long gloves, that's why you can see this accessory in many glossy pages of Vogue, POP, Numero and L’Officiel. These gloves were teamed with Japanese kimono by Prada, bustier dress by Maison Martin Margiela and even with fur sandals by Celine. Every look that was teamed with elbow gloves appeared to be different: one looked theatrical like, other casual or in 1960's style.
Today, there is no doubt, that elbow gloves will come back in fall-winter season, as designers like Alexander Wang, Oscar de la Renta and Michael Kors presented different styles of this accessory: elbow gloves made of fur, gloves from tulle, leather long gloves.
