Designers' Nest was created in 2003 as a professional and international platform for Nordic design graduates to show their talent and to reward a particularly skilled and promising design-student with an accolade from the established world of fashion and design. Today I want to make a review of the Fall-Winter collection which consists of works from the following Scandinavian design schools: AALTO UNIVERSITY of ART & DESIGN, Helsinki, Finland; ESMOD OSLO, Oslo, Norway; OSLO NATIONAL ACADEMY, Oslo, Norway; ICELAND ACADEMY of the ARTS, Reykjavik, Iceland; BECKMANS COLLEGE of DESIGN, Stockholm, Sweden; SWEDISH SCHOOL of TEXTILES, Borås, Sweden; KEA SCHOOL of DESIGN & TECHNOLOGY, Copenhagen, Denmark; KOLDING SCHOOL of DESIGN, Kolding, Denmark; THE ROYAL ACADEMY, SCHOOL of DESIGN, Copenhagen, Denmark; TEKO DESIGN+BUSINESS, Herning, Denmark. Here are the most impressive creations from the show.
That's quite creative violet quilted padded floor-length dress with patent black stripe patches. Can't say where you can dress it, but it for sure looks eye-catching.
That's a fitted goth style outfit, which features asymmetrical shirt and creative long scarf.
I personally like this knitted beanies design, looks like a head band, which is worn on the face. Plus we see an amazing plaid dress.
The same head band beanie and a lightweight cropped jacket.
If you want to make everyone stare at you, but in a good way, then this creative office attire will for sure make you stand out the crowd.
For guys I advice to wear this sophisticated look, which consists of tailored jacket, which reminds me of military style, long untucked top and patent leather-like pants.
The same leather-like patent collarless coat this time styled with fitted black pants.
This impressive white coat will definitely look amazing during creative parties.
A statement gray long tailored coat
A statement high collar gray sweatshirt worn underneath tailored blazer and roomy shimmering pants.
Collarless quilted long jacket with zip pockets.
That's a wow effect coat with fur panels.
A boyish style for real Baseball girls.
