During New York Fashion Week Delpozo showcased its Spring-Summer 2014 collection's runway show. The Spanish based label offers romantic touches which are inspired by the glass windows of cathedrals and a painting called 'Gypsy Woman with Tambourine' by Corot. Label's creative director Josep Font offers floral prints, geometric effects, voluminous shapes, frills and pastel colors. Models appeared in voluminous frocks decked out in floral prints, matador-inspired trousers, ball skirts, relaxed gingham top, raffia skirts, cap-sleeve linen jackets and modern wedding dress with a sweetheart neckline. I like that balance of traditional elements that are mixed with innovative cuts, offering us unexpected volumes with intricate embellishments.
