Derek Lam pre-Fall 2015 season's collection was inspired by Malevich and the American Legacy exhibition that took place at the Gagosian Gallery, especially by Kazimir Malevich circles and squares. I personally like the 1970's American style in these creations. Speaking of prints, then we see grid checks, interesting graphics, and single-circle eyelet details. The collection is focused on urbane separates that feature clean but fluid cuts. Indeed, those clean-lined functional clothes are perfect for the streets wear, office working days and many other events. The color palette features red, navy, white, black, camel, cream beige and indigo. My personal favorites from the Autumn-Winter 2015-2016 pre-collection are gently flared trousers, denim culottes and swingy coats. Everything looks unfussy and luxe.
The luxe, fur navy coat is worn atop dark blue pullover in white grid checks that is tucked in white plaid slim trousers and paired with cool black-white flat booties.
The tailored black blazer with cream camel colored cuffs and bottom line is paired with pleated camel colored flared pants.
That's a gorgeous camel colored draped coat that is a perfect outerwear staple for wearing with office attire.
Speaking of 1970's inspired garments, then I advice you to take a closer look at this awesome red colored glossy coat worn atop floral shift and styled with leggy over-the-knee blue leather boots.
Here we see a red colored wrap coat worn with indigo denim separates that includes a stand-up collar top with patch pockets and skirt-like culottes teamed with black thigh-high boots.
The double-breasted cream beige collarless coat with statement gold colored buttons is worn with brown flat shoes and red leather roll top clutch.
The crewneck black coat with cream camel colored bottom looks awesome styled with white striped top and bell-bottom black trousers.
The sleeveless black high-neck top embellished with golden buttons is paired with wrap tweed skirt.
If you want to amaze your boyfriend or simply look eye-catching, then try on a fully red outfit. Here we see a sleeveless A-line top worn with flared trousers.
