This collection reminds me of A Sleepy Hollow. Indeed, there is something mysterious in the latest Comme des Garçons secondary line, named Comme des Garçons Comme des Garçons. On a basic level, what we saw this season was the experimentation with layers, shapes and lengths. I would like to make a detailed review on the showcased hybrid outerwear, I like that idea of layering each body in luxe fabrics like wool and velvet. My personal favorites from the show are unstructured jackets, signature droppy pants, rumpled serge-stripe jackets. There is kind of retro functional dressing vibe, which makes these pieces standout. All in all, it's comfy, yet conceptual.
That's what I call elegant retro look: A velvet tailored jacket worn over ruched white blouse and relaxed skirt. The outfit is decorated with a nice bowl hat.
The same look as previous one, while this time we see layered skirt.
A printed black trench blazer is styled with puffy skirt and extremely practical flat shoes.
This outfit reminds me of pajama style.
The same pajama style, but completed with jogging capris.
Shrunken outerwear embellished with bows.
I feel a military inspiration in this outfit: khaki green outerwear with golden buttons and paneled skirt.
This one looks like real WW2 uniform: the military green outing embellished with gold buttons and tailored pants.
A navy sinched at the waist dress.
A graphic-checked coat-cape hybrid
Long plaid duffel coat
A double breasted mannish plaid coat.
We see a mix here: navy biker inspired cape.
