Carolina Herrera was inspired by the kinetic art movement, especially by the works of Venezuelan artists Carlos Cruz-Diez and Jesús Rafael Soto in her latest spring-summer women's collection. Models appeared in shift and strapless knee-length dresses, smart shift dresses, long organza gowns, embellished black dresses, floor-length dresses, fluid gowns, ladylike cocktail frocks. You will see here Herrera's signature polished and elegant looks, yet you can feel those artistic touches including thin striped patterns, optical prints, geometric embroideries. Carolina Herrera's new silhouette is feminine and comes with dreamy fabrics. I love that earthy color palette of green, ivory, clay and purple, which gives a bohemian sensibility to the gowns.
