Please welcome Achtland's latest Fall 2015 season collection. Creative directors Oliver Luehr and Thomas Bentz were inspired by British sound technician Daphne Oram who created one of the world’s first synthesizers in her house in the British countryside. With her machine, she developed the ‘Oramics’ technique in 1957, which involved drawing on strips of 35mm film, which were then read by photo-electronic cells and converted into sound.
We see an elephant grey oversized coat in double cotton denim styled with red melange shift dress in cashmere/wool.
Today, Daphne Oram is considered one of the trailblazers of electronic music. She was out-of-the-box thinker and her ideas have inspired an intricate hand-made architectural weave application which find their juxtaposition in floral applications, as well as a bold flamingo leather patchwork. The fabrics were chosen to match Oram's eclectic work, we see elephant grey washed denim, luxurious woven wool check, laminated golden wool tweed. The color palette includes midnight blue, blue shades, turquoise, as well as shimmering silvery and gold. I am so in love with clean-cut silhouettes, luxurious fabrics and beautiful detailing. Anyway, let's have a look at my favorite looks:
Navy scarf with hand-woven applications looks perfect styled with golden oversized sweater in wool tweed, navy and mint double-layered skirt in wool check and silk.
Elephant grey oversized jacket in double cotton denim is worn atop red melange turtleneck in cashmere/wool paired with navy and mint salon trousers in wool check and cotton/silk.
Elephant grey sweater with hand-made leather flamingo applications in double cotton
denim looks brilliant worn with marina blue trousers in wool crepe.
Here we see a beautiful white oversized turtleneck shirt with leaf applications in cotton silk. You can pair this top with grey trousers with contrast piping in wool. An ideal look for everyday wear.
Marina blue oversized sweater in wool crepe ideally fits these golden slim-fit trousers in wool tweed.
Grey and marina blue striped bomber jacket in wool/silk will ideally fit red melange turtleneck sweater in cashmere/wool and golden slim-fit trousers in wool tweed.
