The Emperor 1688 showcased its spring-summer season's collection during Fashion Forward show. The brand's core product is the tailored classic yet sporty menswear essentials, that's why we see models walking down the runway wearing tailored, semi-formal looks. The inspiration of the following looks comes from the 1970's and Yves Saint Laurent touches. The spring season features womenswear line, which has a great influence on men's looks with a use of men's suiting fabrics, yet we see feminine essentials, like flowing caftans, fluid shirtdresses and waffle textured and floral motif pieces. I personally consider the showcased looks to be timeless creations, as I see casual yet classic details, which make every garment look timelessly modern and easy to wear. I love the way designers play with asymmetry and layering, offering its clients long shirts worn unerneath short tailored jackets. The color palette includes safari inspired shades with a touch of cobalt blue, white, navy and light lavender grey. The relaxed energy colors come in tandem with modern silhouettes.
