Roberto Cavalli behind his secondary line Just Cavalli takes us to an imaginative trip to Japan in his resort collection. It's fun, young and fresh. The pre-spring is focused particularly on Tokyo’s Harajuku district, what is a gathering spot for bizarre teens who dress in customized outfits. I am in love with traditional Japanese elements: floral pattern, obi-inspired belts, and kimono prints. There is another reference toward Las Vegas, as we see series of rock inspired garments, including fringed leather jackets, sleeveless zippered leather dress worn over a white silk blouse. All in all, Just Cavalli's resort collection smells like "country romanticism" to me.
