Araks Yeramyan behind Araks presented her latest spring-summer 2014 collection's lookbook during New York Fashion Week. Designer focused on German colonization in Namibia and its effects on the local Herero tribe. This tribe's traditional costumes served as main reference to Yeramyan creations. Models sported cutout waist zipped dresses, silk zigzag-print skirts, baggy pleated pants, blue jacquard dresses with angled ruffles, micro-check print ruffled dresses, pleated white underskirts, sporty-chic floral embroidered anoraks and zipped blousons. Love those mixed-up fabrics, asymmetric flounces, and exaggerated volumes of new season's looks.
