Please welcome a masculine approach to women's embellished outfits from Tommaso Aquilano and Roberto Rimondi. Their latest Aquilano.Rimondi Autumn-Winter 2014-2015 Milan fashion show featured Art Deco inspired bare shape tailoring touches with floral and lush print motifs. Models walked down the runway wearing chic gray jacquard V-neck sheaths with rose patterns, oversize drop-shouldered coats, sleeveless dresses with see-through organza underskirts, bulky jackets with oversize velvet buttons, cropped leather jackets. The real standouts of this show are outerwear pieces. The floral motif is a real treasury of this collection, as we see it like a pattern, as well as decorative metallic flower embroideries. The fabrics are rich and luxe, including heavy wool, eye-catching leather and silk. I personally like the way designers explored mannish tailoring, which gives a special masculine versus feminine touch.
