Alexander Wang presented clear minimalism and fun trend during spring-summer womenswear collection's presentation which was showcased during New York Fashion Week. His spring collection comes with androgynous styles, as models appear with open button-up tees, mini and midi-length pleated skirts, jumpsuits modified as dresses, button-downs, low belted jeans, pleated miniskirts, denim-inspired jackets, skinny leather slipdresses, laser-cut leather jumpers, delicate white lasered lace tops, pink leather bags, pink Mary Janes.
I love that semi-transparent sweatshirt with “Parental Advisory Explicit Content” print across the chest.
The color palette for the next hot season is black, white, neutral hues (plus pink accessories) and accompanied with graphic pattern of his logo. I personally feel kind of nineties callback in these chic and minimal looks, it feels like we are reconnected with 1990's street style of hip-hop.
