Please welcome sensual, sophisticated and slightly undone Alexander McQueen Pre-Fall 2014 collection. Sarah Burton shows us long and elegant high-waisted silhouettes with edgy touches and some notes of dark occult, 1990's men's tailoring. You are about to see masculine pieces, including hip-length tailored vests and ankle-length coats. The stand outs are camisole dresses, jacquard evening dresses embellished with silver tulips, biker boots and skinny silver belts. I personally love the Victorian dressing and Art Nouveau elements. The starting point of the presented collection was Egon Schiele works. Lots of outfits are embellished with fur stoles which look like heavy silver chains. The color palette comes mostly in black, white and pale gray. I personally love the decorations and embroideries, like those beautiful flowers, silver poppies.
