Twin brothers Iñaki and Aitor Muñoz behind Spanish brand Ailanto presented new Autumn-Winter womenswear collection during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Madrid. New fall season was inspired by the Bauhaus school, specifically, by the work of artist Gunta Stöltz (1897-1938), and Anni Albers (1899-1994).
We see model who appears on the runway wearing a beautiful white belted cape coat in black grid print.
The universe of Ailanto is renowned for its color combinations, geometric forms and references to avantgarde art movements. The same references are seen in the latest collection, where layouts of primary geometrical shapes are inspired by Constructivism. We see capes with volume on the back, ankle-length maxi-coats, small masculine jackets, faux fur coats and vests, dungarees and jumpsuits in contrasting silhouettes. The color palette includes combination of monochrome and complementary shades, including baby blue, camel, black, ecru, forest and tea greens, burgundy, pink with grey shades, yellow ochre and silver grey.
A fantastic outfit: pale blue long coat worn atop vibrant print shirt tucked in geometric print long skirt.
Dark burgundy collarless fur coat is worn atop cozy sweater. I love these relaxed fit pale blue trousers.
Green colored collarless long coat looks awesome worn atop matching print separates.
Checkered cape coat with fur collar is worn atop printed button-down what is tucked in high-waist black trousers.
If you are looking for a comfy cover-up, then I recommend to try on this long, red robe-coat.
Camel colored belted sleeveless coat looks awesome worn atop cable knit sweater.
What is so special about Alianto Fall 2015? The winter collection features vibrant geometric prints, pastel colors, belted white poncho coat in grid print, dark red fur coat, relaxed shapes, multiple layered outfits, elongated silhouettes and timeless retro feel. I love the way designers have mixed prints, creating a singular and unique print.
