Creative director Jonny Johansson behind Acne was inspired by the sea and it's water movement by creating psychedelic swirl prints of late 1960's and 1970's. Those swirls were teamed with oversize leopard prints, zebra prints and bold stripes. Models walked down the runway sporting zebra-printed ponyskin anoraks, which are going to be a real must have of the next cold season, practical windbreakers, high-waisted pants, cozy ribbed knit draped sweaters, intarsia pullovers, leather sleeveless shirtdresses, long leather board surfing shorts, cute hippie-like peach and ice-blue denim separates, which included jackets and pants.
The accessories line featured eye-catching pieces, like large metallic disc neckpieces and pom-pom hats. I personally see the classic retro workwear shapes mixed with surfer theme pieces. While most of the presented outfits have kind of vintage vibe, we can distinguish quite futuristic approach with experimental influence.
