Please welcome this Fall 2015 season trend: belted coat. The trend has grown and today I am happy to share with you awesome styles from the various fashion shows and lookbooks. This look gives you a figure flattering shape that creates right curves. I can't think of a chicer way to stay warm this winter 2015-2016, than wearing a belted cover-up.
We see a collarless long style from Derek Lam 10 Crosby worn with a leather belt.
My personal favorites are those bulky and somewhat heavy designs with defined waists. It's an ideal choice for those women and ladies who want to create a waist (understated femininity look) when it's really, really cold. The following style can be achieved simply by wearing your favorite coat with a nice belt or buying already belted cover-up from renown designer brands. The great news are: belted coat works for all body shapes, indeed, it's universally flattering piece that adds the ultimate chic-factor. Anyway, here are a few of my favorite belted styles to try this year:
Frame Denim is here with a retro-inspired suede coat what ideally works with any color outfit.
Great Greenland x Jesper Horving offers a ladylike cover-up what is embellished with fur and black leather belt.
MM6 Maison Margiela is here with a tailored long black coat updated with wide black leather belt.
Bronze shaded look from Tomas Maier is a perfect update for your everyday wear.
Looking for 1970's inspired garments? Take a look at this marvelous blush tailored look from Trina Turk.
Go for vintage looking long styles. We see Visvim coat cinched at the waist with a brown leather belt.
ALC is here with a tailored black coat completed with black leather belt.
You can use different color belts. We see Assembly New York what brings us a dark blue colored coat completed with a white belt.
That's a gorgeous looking grey colored look from Band of Outsiders. In love with a statement belt.
Burberry keeps it vintage-inspired. In love with this abstract floral printed double-breasted coat.
