Dramatic and Feminine. Australian designer Carl Kapp presents his new Autumn-Winter collection's lookbook of women's innovative garments that are made of luxurious and natural fabrics (wool, silk, cotton and cashmere), that are soft, tactile and amazing. For the fall season Carl Kapp was inspired by the image of Joan Allen’s graceful impersonation of Elena Hood in the powerful 1990s drama “The Ice Storm.” His collection is modern, fresh and structured. Here you will find simple box-pleating and double inverted pleat techniques, in other words beautiful minimalism.
What I love about Carl is his bold colors and detailing, as you can see his clean dresses, sleek blazers and lightweight coats come in vibrant color palette of crimson red, marigold yellow, turquoise, charcoal grey and royal navy. Carl's creations are worn by Cate Blanchett, Nicole Kidman, Rose Byrne, Rachael Taylor, Miranda Otto and many other talented and beautiful women.
