Vivienne Westwood Red Label Spring-Summer Elegant and Modern

Vivienne Westwood's Red Label Spring-Summer show featured beautiful costume outfits. Models faces were painted like zombies, while the hairstyles were dishevelled and messy. The clothes come in practical and timeless shapes. You are about to see many standout items, including slouchy silk jumpsuits, corsetry floral dresses, high-waisted, knee-length shorts, strapless satchels held as clutches. Everything is wearable, elegant and modern.

If we wont take in a consideration model's make up and straw hat, then will see a nice plaid double-breasted pantsuit embellished with a nice neck scarf.

Vivienne Westwood Red Label Fall-Winter Posh Wardrobe

For the next Autumn season Vivienne Westwood Red Label collection was focused on English woman posh wardrobe looks. You are about to see draped tailoring pieces with opulent and demure touch. I like that working girl vibe, which silhouette is quite boxy yet still feminine and stylish. Models sported voluminous coats, Harris tweed swing coats, lady suits in Savile Row pinstripes, fur-trimmed shorts, postwar-like broad-shouldered coats and suits, boxy handbags, retro hats, vintage head scarves created by Albisetti and Mantero. The color palette features red and blue tartans, white, black, brown, mustard, navy and gray. All in all, it's quite vintage and somewhat nostalgic collection.

Vivienne Westwood Fall-Winter Medieval Inspiration RTW

I'd like to share with you Vivienne Westwood Autumn-Winter ready to wear collection of women's apparel which was showcased during Paris Fashion Week. The designer was inspired by the illuminated medieval manuscripts. It was about medieval times and cultural cross-pollination that occured when Crusaders came back to Europe after their crusade into the Arab world. I like that special medieval flora and fauna feel in Westwood's clothes. Here you will see hyper-sophisticated tailoring including flannel pantsuits, fishtail goddess gowns, hooded capes, flyaway silk-scarf skirts.

The designer was also inspired by the Greenpeace, "Save the Arctic" was her rubric. Well, I feel kind of barbarian queen clothing here, don't you think the same.

Vivienne Westwood Red Label Fall-Winter Punk Spirit

I'd like to share with you Vivienne Westwood's Red Label Autumn-Winter collection's runway show which was showcased during London Fashion Week. The main theme of collection was punk spirit and punk aesthetic. I personally interpret these outfits like a workingwoman's wardrobe, who probably works in media, so she tries to wear everything spunky and typical punk style codes. Models appeared on the catwalk wearing asymmetric green plaid blazers, slouchy ease typical Westwood dresses, pantsuits, zebra-print puff-skirted party frocks, nipped-waist jackets, harem pants, burgundy and blue striped coats, muted knit sweater dresses, pencil skirts and rainbow-striped socks. Overall, Vivienne Westwood Red Label Fall collection is punk inspired and highly practical.

Vivienne Westwood Spring-Summer Romantic Menswear

Vivienne Westwood comes up with tribal, Metropolitan Museum of Art and India inspired spring-summer menswear collection. New season comes with Indian culture, bright colors, vivid graphic and romantic impressions. The English designer offers punk menswear essentials, vibrant prints and signature eclecticism. Male models appeared in graphic fluid silk shirts, relaxed jackets, belted silk jumpsuits, oversize tunics, deconstructed linen suits, ample caftans, rolled-up cotton pants, pale orange cardigans, beige blazers and track pants. I personally like these lightweight checked linen items, ombre pieces and Manning's military berets.

Vivienne Westwood Fall-Winter Chic Prints Ready-to-Wear

Prints and Chic Silhouettes. During Copenhagen Fashion Week Vivienne Westwood presented Autumn-Winter Ready to Wear womenswear collection. It's colorful, bold and consists of reworked prints and clingy silhouettes. Love how Westwood reworks boring prints, just take a look at her new bold looks. For the next season she offers plaid prints, checkered prints, wonderful floral prints and layered patterns. My favorites include deep blue floral crochet dresses with chunky taupe leather belts, red and white floral print cocktail dresses.
