Let's welcome this 1970's inspired sportswear creations from the latest Tribune Standard Spring-Summer collection's lookbook. My personal favorites are wrap dresses, sand art pastel printed cropped jacket and matching wide-leg pants and obi-style belts. We see a balance between utilitarian design and crafted flourishes. The details of the presented looks is simply outstanding, while the fit and finish is timeless. Label's designer Tawfik Mounayer offers sophisticated and preppy pieces with kimono silhouettes and geometric and swirly sand-art prints.
My favorite sand art pastel printed swing jacket styled with printed textured faille cap sleeve button down and printed wide leg trouser.
Tawfik Mounayer behind Tribune Standard presents his latest Fall-Winter collection of ladylike ensembles. New season comes with polish designs which are inspired by Russian Romanticism. Model poses in bubbly brocade little black dresses, silk twill cocktail separates, peasant blouses and hand-painted neon prints inspired by Kremlin architecture ("babushka meets Barbarella"). I personally felt in love with foiled dot tulle and bubble brocade drop waisted dress, embroidered lace and teal silk drop shoulder shirt dress, hand painted chevron print peasant blouse, pleated skirt and wool camel embroidered closure cape.
