I want to draw your attention to these awesome images taken from the backstage of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid Spring-Summer collections. The show was held from 11th to 16th September at Feria de Madrid. I am not going to talk about collections which were presented during MBFWM, of course every designer presented awesome looks and details, yet, I am going to share with you some of the best backstage photos which include models who are snapped during their preparing for the shows. I hope you like these images, as I tried to collect only the best moments.
That's a cute pin up style blond model who wears a bow tied headband, lush updo and stunning make up. I love the red lips and strict eyeliner.
Agatha Ruiz de la Prada presented its new Spring-Summer collection during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid. New collection's name is Estampa 2. The brand continues to work with prints, offering its clients classic and fun looks. We see bright colors with wide range of vibrant hues. I love bright colors, including green, red, yellow, fuchsia, turquoise, orange and numerous rainbow mixtures. We see wide range of fabrics use, starting from cotton and linen for daywear and poplin, jersey, felt, tulle, voile, twill, neoprene, silk, satin and organza for evening wear. I see lots of plasticized fabrics, embroideries and micro-sequins. Female models appear on the runway wearing comfortable and daring silhouettes, which make every outfit look individual and bright. You are about to see long an short ensembles, balloon styles, drainpipe trousers, wide trousers, pencil, straight and ample skirts, as well as my favorite can-can designs. All in all, Estampa-2 is a fun womenswear collection for those women who have no fear.
The A-line shirt looks great with capri pants and red strappy sandals.
This time I want to draw your attention to Etxeberría Spring-Summer season's collection which was presented at Mercedes-Benz Madrid Fashion Week. I see sophisticated leather looks in dark color palette, including muted aubergine, earth shades, burgundy, black and green hues. Speaking of fabrics use, then I see crocodile, python, suede and fur combinations, which have luxurious feel and rich look. This brand offers expensive apparel for those people who love wearing unique clothing. Models walked down the catwalk wearing a fake hawk hairstyles and wearing short sleeve above-the-knee gowns, sleeveless dresses styled with long jackets, cool bootie sandals, etc. Looking through the images, I have noticed the exotic spirit, which makes these creations stand out from the crowd. The leather allows you to emphasize your silhouette, making you look edgy and special.
That's a cocoon inspired outfit, which consists of a wide, short sleeve, collarless front-zip bomber worn atop navy-grey top and loose-fit tailored shorts.
Juan Vidal presented his Spring-Summer runway show at Mercedes-Benz Madrid Fashion Week. The new "Alex" collection was inspired by "the jacket that Paul McCartney wore during his first US Wings Tour alone in 1973, known as the 'Strawberry fields' jacket which was made thanks to the same name song." The show featured models walking down the catwalk wearing oversize baby doll ensembles, lightweight jackets, tailored suits, pants with zips, knee shorts, A-line dresses with retro details and crystal embroideries. Strawberry appears on dresses, suits and even bags, it's a famous print, which has a history. Despite of fruits, there are vibrant stripes, as well as Prince of Wales print combined with yellow lining. The apparel is made from innovative fabrics, including updated linen, gazar, poplin, jacquard and metallics. The color palette includes white, black, yellow, grey, red and blue. Speaking of accessories line, then I see shoulder duffle bag and backpack. I personally felt in love with those white and black metallic heel half round booties.
The mid parted blond model walks down the runway wearing a Prince of Wales printed outfit, which includes statement coat lined in yellow color, stunning blazer, slim-fit legging pants, monochrome striped button-down and white booties.
David Delfín presented his eponymous label's DAVIDELFIN Spring-Summer collection titled “THE TIME OF MONSTERS“, during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid. Designer was inspired by Spanish couple from the Canary Islands who worked as screenwriters and film directors- Dunia Ayaso and Félix Sabroso. We see multicolored triangle prints which seem to be inspired by Bauhaus, we see striped sweaters embellished with Swarovksi crystals, black and white dresses, etc. The color palette includes black, white, pink, blue, red, washed denim and green. Speaking of fabrics use, Delfin used cotton, silk, polyester, viscose, lurex and oilskin to create this apparel. As you have already noticed, models appear on the catwalk wearing Christian Louboutin and Dr. Martens shoes. My personal favorites are those sophisticated styles embellished with Swarovski crystals.
Male model appears on the runway wearing a pale blue pantsuit, where jacket features Bauhaus prints.
Today I want to share with you this great runway show from Mercedes-Benz Madrid Fashion Week. Elena Rial Spring-Summer collection was inspired by a reclusive American writer and artist Henry Darger, who has become famous for his posthumously discovered 15,145-page, single-spaced fantasy manuscript called The Story of the Vivian Girls. Each piece from Elena Rial's new collection looks fabtastic, charming and mysterious. What I like about Rial's work, then it's the kind of mystery, which can be seen in every designer's creation, making it look sophisticated and somewhat retro inspired. We see simple fabric looks made mostly of cotton. Speaking of color palette, then it features calm pastel hues, with touches pale pink, navy, pale yellow, red and pastel fuchsia. I hope you are ready to take a tour in a charming, full of mystery and fantasy Elena Rial universe.
The female model walks down the runway wearing a sculptor's head on her head. I love the vintage, pale pink shirt-dress with a pleated skirt.
I'd like to draw your attention to this great Ángel Schlesser Spring-Summer runway show, which was presented at Mercedes-Benz Madrid Fashion Week. What I love about this designer, then it's ready to wear essentials, which are wearable, simple and elegant. Just look at these clean lines and modern silhouettes, every piece looks individual and innovative. Models walk down the catwalk sporting comfy looks which can go from the office to after-hours with polish ease. There are beautiful and sensual evening styles, which drove my heart crazy. The fabrics include cotton, linen, silk, twill and jacquard. Speaking of color palette, then you will find here white, red, navy, khakis, brown, blue and black clothing. There are couple of safari looks, which have that special touch of the Central Savannah landscape (photographs by Peter Beard) and leopard prints.
This red print reminds me of bubbles, while the outfit consists of a tailored, collarless suit jacket and straight-leg pants.
