Let me take you to the space, as we are about to see Jean Paul Gaultier Autumn-Winter ready to wear collection's show. So, you are about to see space age outfits mixed with punk style. French designer offers us kind of retro futuristic lineup with metallic shades, tartan prints, luxe furs and leather. Here are presented leather slipdresses, moto jackets, sequin embellished leggings, metallic flight jackets, baggy shimmery jumpsuits, puffy jackets, zippered sweaters with silver insets, thigh-high rubber boots and suede T-strap heels. Gaultier gives us a real futuristic space travel with shiny fabrics and mixed prints.
Please welcome Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture Spring-Summer collection's runway show. French designer was inspired by lightness and movement (butterflies and showgirls), that's why we see butterflies inspired outfits, like winged dresses and decorations on tops. My personal favorites from the show are simple black crepe dresses, corsets with butterfly markings, figure-hugging skirts, curve-hugging pencil skirts, decorated denim vests and flapper chic dresses. Love those creations with sleeves shaped like wings. Jean Paul Gaultier once again proves that he's still one of the most positive and influential designers. Love the way he shows the glamorous and burlesque touches of the show.
Jean Paul Gaultier’s motto for the next pre-fall season is “London Calling” vibe, which features British schoolgirl looks. What really catches my eyes in this collection is the outerwear designs that include white fur chubby, zipped bomber jackets, fur designs, military-inspired parkas, satin bomber jackets and peacoats. That's what I call practical outerwear. The other standout pieces were Hybrid tailored pieces that looked polished and bold, love those double-layer pants, ribbed turtleneck with tailored sleeves, Bermuda shorts worn over trousers, sleeveless jacket. So, it's practical pre-collection which features proper look garments.
Let's make the Spring-Summer season look spectacular, as we are about to view Jean Paul Gaultier spring ready to wear collection. The next season comes with a mash-up looks from different decades, featuring antique cabaret style, biker-girl attitude, Amy Winehouse inspired looks and asymmetric biker silhouettes. Models sported leather pencil skirts, sweaters knotted around the neck, leather biker jackets, black-leathered biker molls, red tracksuits, form-fitting pants, hooded sweatshirts. All in all, it's collection of a mash up styles, from fringed dresses to 1970's punk vibes and rap silhouettes.
Jean Paul Gaultier presented his Fall-Winter women's ready to wear collection's show at the Salle Wagram. This cold season, Jean Paul Gaultier goes sharp with quite extraordinary style. Models appeared in matte black alligator tailcoats, studded leather bustier tops, batwing-sleeved georgette dresses, floor-length pleated skirts, 1980's inspired broad-shouldered jackets, maxi mink coats, intarsia fur jackets, sprayed-on golden pants, duster coats, leather jackets. I personally love that take on 1990's grunge-meets goth style accessories, as we see masculine versus feminine pieces including shoes that are hybrids between loafers and pumps, gleaming metallic pumps, curvy ankle boots. My favorite is handsome sleek leather bag, that is a perfect carryall.
Jean Paul Gaultier showcases men's elegance and spring easiness in his latest menswear spring-summer collection. New lookbook features simple outfits with modern silhouettes and classic touches. Male models appear in on-trend pieces, including street wear savvy silk separates, T-shirts, shorts, bomber jackets, slim tailored trousers, jumpsuits, easy lengthened shirts, color blocked cardigans, classic blazers, 'inside-out' jackets and suits. I personally like collection's rich prints (the exuberant flower design, windowpane check and monochrome tile print) and neutral and dark colors.
Flirty and elegant styles are seen in the latest Jean Paul Gaultier Resort collection. Every flirty piece comes along with brand's codes. Here are presented sheath evening dresses with slits, fishnet fabrics used as pattern on jackets, straw hats and t-shirts, fishnet pantyhose, signature stripe sweaters, fluid pants with slits on the side of legs, tailored jackets with slits, pajama-style suits, blue papery linen A-line jackets and matching miniskirts. All in all, it's Jean's own reinterpretation of glamour.
Jean Paul Gaultier presents his latest menswear Fall-Winter collection's lookbook, that features men's classic wearable wardrobe pieces, including iridescent washed-denim, sharp grey coats, beige turtleneck sweaters, long black leather gloves, pinstripe pants, pleated skirts, tailored suits and outerwear, slim suits, cropped jackets, knee-length skirts, leather ankle boots, oxfords in workwear-style leather.
My favorites of this collection are half biker vest attached on the right side of a coat torso and half blazer attached to a single long-sleeve piece. Collection comes with a neutral color palette: different shades of light grey, camel, navy blue, black, and a bit of red.
You can leave you Hat on. Jean Paul Gaultier uncovers unique layers in his new Autumn-Winter men's collection which was shown at Paris Fashion Week. JPG sent his models in pinstripe zip away jumpsuits, tailored suits and kilts, simple t-shirts, cable-knit sweaters, lace embellished looks, eveningwear and other modern outings.
Modern Luxe. Jean Paul Gaultier was inspired by his 1980's collection's in pre-Fall 2013 season. Here are some iconic pieces from past collections, like his “garbage bag” dress which is updated with glossy leather.
Model appeared in playful and asymmetric looks, like those half leather jackets layered over suits, pin-striped suits, knit turtlenecks, chunky wool peacoats, leather biker jackets, elegant long fluid dresses with bold metallic zippers.
