Here is another urban and sportswear inspired spring-summer collection by James Long. The lookbook features edgy and full of print outfits, starting from oversize textured tops, beautiful dresses, sporty jackets and tops. The upcoming season comes with various fabrics starting from lycra, jersey, rubberized denim and satin-bonded-leather. You can feel that athletic touch which features from shirts to jackets to shorts. The loose fit silhouette comes with new innovative direction. All in all, the spring season is about sporty woman, who manages to combine work with her daily work-outs.
James Long presented boyish styles for girls in his Fall-Winter womenswear collection, which was inspired by Prim and punk, formality and informality. I personally like those loose fitted knitwear designs and blue-heavy outing. Autumn collection was showcased in a small gallery presentation, where Long showcased domestic, clean, pure and a bit disturbed looks. Models appeared in loose pleated skirts, cosy and relaxed jumpers, cropped boxy jackets, "micro-camo" print blousons, cropped leather or fur jackets and untucked shirts.
Black and White Looks. James Long presented his new spring-summer collection of womenswear during London Fashion Week, which was all about black and white looks. The theme was a PJ Harvey meets Beetlejuice (described James Long), yet he was inspired by Lulu Kennedy. Take a closer look at these marvelous monochromatic looks: knitted tube skirts, frilled peplum jackets and shirts, signature leather jackets and shorts, belted sundresses, chevron-stitched leather jackets, striped dirndl skirts. I particularly felt in love with graphic stitched cutouts on skirts. All in all, it’s a wearable collection with a mix of masculine and feminine touch.
Street Punks. Here are first images of the capsule collection James Long for Topman. Britain designer brings out knitwear designs which are inspired by punk and rock'n'roll culture. Love these pullovers and knits.
This Spring-Summer James Long delivers exotic prints, fashionable knits. Models walked down the catwalk in reptile-printed sandals, cream-colored knits, cuffed shorts, knitted cardigans, fitted trousers, backpacks and bags.
